This is a major concern. This will affect the water table of the lake, disturb fish and other water inhabitants and possibly stir up pollutants. The noise of pumps running 24/7 in a residential area is also concerning. Lire davantage

Lake Huron is our home and our drinking water and beach. This ridiculous amount taken from it will have a devestating effect on the environment. Until we have a way to take the salt out of ocean water we should leave our fresh water lakes alone.

Definitely not in favor of destroying our beautiful beach, have lived in this area for 25 years and see no reason to erect new buildings and take away some of our beach and parking area for our residents and vacationers

This absolutely should not be approved. This would be an absolute travesty to Lake Huron and all of the towns on it and people who enjoy it. PLEASE I am begging the decision makers to do the right thing and do not let this happen!!

Please do NOT build any new buildings anywhere along the Huron Lake shores. I’d rather swim in this water than it be in a building or have that buildings waste be flushed back into the lake Lire davantage

Excuse me but this is ridiculous. And just where is this water going? Was there not a campaign just a few years ago called “stop the drop” to reduce our Great Lakes from losing water and decreasing shoreline? Seems like a bad idea to me.

Does the dewatering mean noise pollution from the water pumps? As a summer resident in the harbour, will these be heard all the time? This would be concerning. This does not even consider the exhaust fumes from the assumed diesel pumps. Lire davantage

I think you should be aware that the site map provided by the hydrologist is inaccurate. It shows the original site with bore holes for removing water marked. This is not the current site of the proposed development. Also, in the report it states that they did hydrology samples down 100 feet. Lire davantage
