I would like to express my concern about this proposal. I am concerned about the volume of water that will need to be pumped out at this site as it is extremely close to the Lake Huron shoreline. The beach here is naturally wet and rapidly fills with water when children dig there with their little shovels. I cannot imagine how much water would need to be removed for any kind of construction, if it is even possible.

My other concern is where the water is going to be pumped to. The closest water outlets are either the public harbour which is full of boats or the public swimming beach which is full of swimmers and small children. The discharged water would create unsafe swimming and boating conditions.
