My family and I live a pretty good distance from this scrap yard and we are up wind, BUT even with this in our favor, we hear the new machine constantly, like it is right next door to us. I would hate to be any of the homes that are close to this location. Lire davantage

My wife and I own a residence a few hundred meters north of the facility for over 15 years. We have lately (I think the last year or so) been experiencing very excessive noise from this business. To the point where it is almost uncomfortable to be outside our house at those times. Lire davantage

I am in no way supportive of this application. I am one of 25 homes in Gormley that surrounds this facility. I have lived in the community for 60 years. Don Mills Steel started out as a transfer facility. I has now become a full fledged steel grinding and storage facility. Lire davantage

I find the lack of consultation with the community on behalf of MECP unacceptable. People have no idea that they should go to MECP environmental registry to submit comments regarding issues like DMS has created in the community. Lire davantage
