My family and I live a pretty good distance from this scrap yard and we are up wind, BUT even with this in our favor, we hear the new machine constantly, like it is right next door to us. I would hate to be any of the homes that are close to this location. The sound is like it is in our backyard it is so loud. I believe that a sound study should be initiated and this machine should not be allowed in present form. Further more this scrap yard is a hazard to the neighborhood with all the fires it has had over the years.
