The expansion proposal is for an area that contains the headwater source of the Alliston Aquifer. On this basis alone a government that respects the need to protect the drinking water of current and future generations would deny this application.

We want a moratorium on any expansion and any water taking permits for CRH-Canada - Dufferin
Aggregate at the Teedon Pit in the Waverley Uplands. This Company has not done a cumulative
impact study, nor has it installed turbidity monitors. They are not being good Corporate Citizens.

primarily, but draw most heavily from rural lands. Dufferin's intention to use the aquifer at
Aliston to wash gravel is offensive.
