How did Bill-132 (2019) get read BEFORE comment period closed?
On October 28, Bill-132 proposed amendments to the Aggregate Resources Act (ARA) when the public comment period (ERO #019-0556) was still open until November 4th.
How exactly does that work?
As a Resident and Taxpayer, I believe Ontario's Environmental Registry is an excellent idea. I appreciate the platform when it is used as intended to inform, interact and solicit feedback from the public, interested parties and stakeholders. However, under the current government spending any time researching or contributing in a meaningful way seems a waste of time. For the record, I hereby indicate my interest in this issue and note that the Ford government is unilaterally making decisions that benefit corporations and not the Ontario public.
