A quarry should not be allowed to be developed so close to the QEII Wildlands Provincial Park. Especially one that would take aggregate from below the water table. This would have a major negative impact on the ecological integrity of the area. Read more

We owe it to future generations to save areas like the Queen Elizabeth II Wildlands Park from development. I realize that the area that Giofam Investment's Inc is proposing to mine is outside of the park but the environmental impact that will be felt by the park will be devestating. Read more

To permit a quarry that will endanger species at risk, to endanger a significant watertable and, in general, to infringe on such a very special provincial park is outrageous. Please do not permit the establishment of this quarry, there are lots of other sources of granite Ontario. Read more
