These factories need to be removed from this area. The traffic caused by their transport trucks is bad and clogs up Keele St and Gunn’s. It is horrible to drive by and see animals parts or skins on they floor in the middle of the road. Read more

Stockyards Slaughter House Ryding - Regency to INCREASE their toxic emissions! The very thought of this business being allowed to expand their operations and increase air pollution in our now very residential community sickens and infuriates me. Read more

I find it quite incredulous that the City of Toronto would even contemplate such a horrific amendment. To increase toxins which would "include ammonia, nitrogen oxides, particulate matter and lactic acid", is quite staggering. Read more

I have concerns with additional air pollution in my neighbourhood. This is a gentrifying family are that has many young families. Our children DO NOT need this additional toxic pollution. This facility should be moved, never mind given permission to increase their air pollution!! Read more

The smell already is so bad that we don't leave our house. The noise from their trucks is already too much. The kids don't even go to the park anymore because of this company.

I have lived and worked in this area all of my life. As a child we were The Borough of York, then later the City of York and now we are part of Toronto. This history alone should make it obvious that the location of THE STOCKYATDS is out of date. Read more

Im very against this. The slaughterhouses and plants in the neighbourhoods need to go. They don't belong in the city anymore. Families live in the neighourbood and should not be exposed to the stench, the pollution, the dangerous driving of their trucks to name a few. Read more

I live in this neighborhood and DO NOT SUPPORT THIS! These factories/slaughterhouse are a sore in the community. The smells, the trucks constantly driving by full of animals headed for slaughter is too much to bear. I am a vegan and I see this constantly. Read more

I believe that this proposal for an Environmental Compliance Approval with Limited Operational Flexibility (Air & Noise) should be declined. As a new resident to the area, the stockyards in West Toronto are a thing of the past. Read more

This is an absolute joke that multiple slaughter houses in this area have all applied at the same time for a variance to pollution laws. Anyone that has ever stepped foot in this area has been subject to illegal emissions for many years. Read more

As stated in the proposal, previous disallowed concentrations of noxious discharge are being sought for the expanded plant, which will further violate the rights of the residents of this neighbourhood to clean air and water and enjoyment of life. There is no conceivable way this expansion shou Read more

Please do not allow increased emissions in our residential neighbourhood. If you want to walk to do any shopping in my area, you must walk past Ryding and St Helen's Meat Packers. The smell is unbearable on any day, but in the summer it is suffocating. Read more
