Is there any expected odor to result from the new product? What is the radius?

Commenting on the Terrapure Brant Street facility. Members of our community attended an open house with Terrapure and found the information to be very useful. The technology is innovative, and we all support the concept of developing different ways of diverting waste from the landfill.

I am really upset that this company wants to bring hazardous chemicals and human manure by the truckload into my neighborhood.

The company is known as "Terrapure" in the neighbourhood and I will refer to it by this name in my comments.

Regarding the instrument proposal notice EBR registry number 013-3734, I am a resident of the area to the south of the site in question within a 2km radius. I object to the proposed amendment to the types of waste allowed for processing on this site.

We do not want this sewage sludge processing plant to go through. We’ve had enough stink from the composting issues this summer, and should not have to put up with more. To say the smell we had to endure with the composting plant was unpleasant is an understatement.

We don't need more smell or more trucks.

have lived here for eight years, constantly fighting The graffite from Arcelor Mittal, have to wipe off clothes line before hanging laundry. The orders and smells from dump on gage Avenue, and you want to add human waste. we are human beings trying to survive in this city.

My concern about this whole thing would be over any smells and noxious odours that may be produced. We were greatly impacted by the recycling plant this past summer that had the compost heap. I live in the Stipley neighbourhood and the smell was not only overwhelming, but potent and noxious.

I live in the area of the Sherman Ave. North and Brant Street. I am opposed to the operation of this sewage sludge experiment due to the stink and smell that the residents will have when they go outdoors or open their windows.

This application should not be approved. Residents in this area should not be subjected to smelly toxic substances in their neighborhood.

I am very concerned about odour and air pollution issues. This area already has issues with odour and does not need another potential problem. Although the company says they will do their best to keep down smell they don't seem to have thought this issue out fully.

To whom it may concern. I am a home owner in the vicinity of this proposed facility and I am absolutely opposed to its execution.

I am opposed to this sewage sludge processing plant. This area has had to put up with enough toxic smelling environment, this is not something that should be set up in our community.

I am opposed to the application for amendment from Terrapure to allow municipal biosolids to be processed at their Brant Street facility. -This location is very close to residential neighbourhoods. The transport and processing of sewage sludge should not occur so close to homes.

Lower Hamilton is already burden with 1) a compromised air shed, 2) bad smells, 3) high transport and commercial truck traffic, and 4) a polluted water front. Revolution Landfill Acquisition GP Inc.

I have 9 comments regarding the proposal of this facility at 237 Brant Street: 1. The applicants (Terrapure) mentioned that this application is for a one year pilot project to test the feasibility of this biosolids to fertilizer project at the open house on October 16.

1) The proposed facility is an open building that will not contain any odours from neither unloading (feeding) of the biosolids nor the processing of the biosolids in the reactor.
