As a resident of Picton, Ontario I STRONGLY object to Lehigh Cement being approved to add ALCF's to the fuels it uses to make cement. I understand that the Environmental Defence does NOT support this approval and with good reason. Read more

I support the phasing out of coal use in Ontario. However, Alternative Fuels regulation does not provide enough controls regarding toxic emissions or oversight to ensure that we are not replacing one problematic fuel with another that might pollute with greater toxicity. Read more
