I want to know what regulations will be in place to protect the surrounding area and residential properties? Where will the water be pumped to? I am opposed as this will affect the water table in Lake Huron, could negatively affect harbour water and this harbour with resident and transient boaters is part of the tourist attraction. There may be dangerous consequences for the fish habitat, and variety of water birds. Lire davantage

Not in favour of this. Sucking up to 1M litres per day, where will it be discharged? What will the effects be on surrounding properties, standpoint? The noise of pumps may be a problem? What happens after 3 years?

The proper environmental assessments have not been done for this project. The proposed location is on sandy beach, a floodplain, which has been used as a parking lot for decades. There will be petrochemical residues, undoubtedly, in the water pumped out. Where will that water be taken? Lire davantage
