Hello. I am a seasonal boater in the port Elgin harbour. I am very concerned with this proposal to extract water from the lake for the construction of the CCV. I am not in favor of this construction at all and have no idea why such a large amount of water would be needed for this construction and for 3 years??? How is this to be extracted and what kind of noise pollution and disruption to the beach would it involve?. Is there not another option because I feel this should not be allowed. If this project was built elsewhere in town how would the water be provided? Our lake and harbour should be protected and no one In this community even wants to see the monstrosity built on this beautiful beach let alone allow all that water to be pumped. Please reconsider.
