The Minister of the Environment, Conservation and Parks has issued an overall benefit permit to the Town of LaSalle for construction activities that may impact Eastern Foxsnake and Dense Blazing Star, two species at risk. The permit includes actions to minimize adverse effects, benefit the species, as well as monitoring and reporting requirements.

We have issued a new Permit to Take Water No. 6205-CPPL24 on March 7, 2023, for OPTrust Amaranth 6 Inc., in the Township of Amaranth, Ontario for the purposes of a commercial water supply. The new permit expires on March 7, 2033.

A new Environmental Compliance Approval was issued to 1589873 Ontario Limited for approval of upgrades to the existing works for the treatment of sanitary sewage and subsurface disposal of treated effluent from the existing Flamborough Hills Golf & Country Club, located at 71 Highway 52 North, in the City of Hamilton.

An amended Environmental Compliance Approval was issued to Summerhill Resorts Ltd. for approval of upgrades to the existing works for the treatment of sanitary sewage and subsurface disposal of treated effluent, from the existing Duck Lake RV Resort, located at 2612 Victoria Road 35 in the Village of Kirkfield, City of Kawartha Lakes.

A Permit to Take Water No. P-300-1190403955 was issued to Quail North Holdings Inc. on March 7, 2023 for five years. Water will be taken for quarry dewatering purposes at the Orillia Quarry, located at 7172 Concession Road B-C Road in Ramara, Ontario.

We have issued a new Permit to Take Water No. P-300-3166522825 on March 2, 2023, which cancels and replaces permit No. 7770-8JAPEA for DeCorso Enterprises Limited, in Puslinch, Ontario, for recreational golf course irrigation purposes. The new permit expires on February 28, 2031.

A new Environmental Compliance Approval is granted for the establishment of seasonal sewage works to service a cottage, located at Lot 730, 7th Street at Belwood Lake in Centre Wellington, Ontario.

An Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) has been granted to Prestressed Systems Incorporated for the operation of a new ready-mix concrete batching facility located in the City of Windsor, Ontario.

Approval works for the establishment of stormwater management to service an approximate 2.125 hectare development area of a 5.78 hectare site, for collection, transmission, treatment and disposal of stormwater run-off, to provide enhanced water quality protection, erosion control and to attenuate post-development to pre-development level.
