The Director of Exploration has made a decision on the exploration permit application PR-23-000018 to Group Ten Metals for early exploration activities.

The decision is to: issue the mineral exploration permit.

A Permit to Take Water No. 0180-CVDRR5 was issued to Lafarge Canada Inc. on September 8, 2023 to amend Permit to Take Water No. 7578-A83NZM to update the location of the water taking ("Pond A"). Water will be taken from one pond for aggregate washing and dust suppression, located in North Grenville, Ontario, for three years.

Approval was granted to the Ontario Power Generation Inc. (OPG) Darlington Nuclear Generating Station (DNGS) to amend existing ECA (industrial sewage) No. 0827-CJANMM to reflect the proposed plan to construct, commission, operate and maintain a new Darlington Nuclear (DN) Demineralized Water Plant (DWP).

We have issued a new Environmental Compliance Approval for the establishment of year round subsurface sewage disposal works, rated at 26,000 liters per day, for Wander the Resort Inc. to service a cabin resort located at 15841 Loyalist Parkway, Bloomfield, County of Prince Edward, Ontario.

A Permit to Take Water No. 5848-CTTRDR was issued on September 13, 2023 to Angus Glen Golf Club Ltd. to renew Permit to Take Water No. 7186-93SMHH for five years. Water will be taken from two wells for golf course irrigation purposes in Markham, Ontario.

A Permit to Take Water No. 6263-CV5SFN was issued on September 13, 2023 to renew Permit to Take Water No. 4458-BP5NPZ for Woodington Management Inc for four years. Water will be taken from one pond for golf course irrigation purposes at the Woodington Lake Golf Club, located in New Tecumseth, Ontario.

A Certificate of Property Use was issued on September 8, 2023 to Ritson Division Retail GP Limited for the intended residential and commercial use of the property located at 201 Ritson Road North, Oshawa, Ontario.

RGT Clouthier Construction Ltd. was issued a licence to extract aggregate from a pit in the Township of Laurentian Valley.

We have exempted certain Crown projects related to provincial parks and conservation reserves from Environmental Assessment Act requirements and approved the Project Evaluation Policy (formerly referred to as the Environmental Impact Assessment Policy) to move projects forward faster without compromising environmental protection.

We have approved the Project Evaluation Policy under the Provincial Parks and Conservation Reserves Act. It will guide consideration of potential environmental effects and consultation for certain proposed projects within provincial parks and conservation reserves carried out by or on behalf of the ministry.

Water will be taken from one well and one pond for aggregate extraction and construction purposes at the St Albert Quarry, located at 1272 Farley Road in Crysler, Ontario.

Approval is granted for a new Environmental Compliance Approval for 2831468 Ontario Ltd., for stormwater management works serving 245 Industrial Drive in Mount Forest, Township of Wellington North, Ontario.
