My husband and I oppose this proposal due to the lack of public due diligence and discussion. It appears that loopholes have been used to side step mandatory lawful procedures. These lawful procedures are in place for wetlands protection not commercial enterprise. To allow this proposal would be tantamount to the destruction of species and wetlands within the Georgian Bay ecosystem. The Environmental Registry of Ontario, as the governing body should not allow this travesty to occur.
