I have worked and am working on behalf of endangered species in Ontario in the Norfolk County area
of Ontario through volunteer efforts with the Nature Conservancy of Canada and the Long Point Basin
Land Trust.
Consideration for Endangered Species is the consideration at the top of the list when mankind
considers any type of major topographic changes to a district.
Simply put when a federally designated species is at risk in an area of the Province -= the
provincial government should not allow the action to take place and cancel the appliction for
extraction - in this case.
This particular proposal for an 84 hectre granite extraction pit will impact endangered species -
so it is my opinion it should not be allowed.
