Re: Comments on EBR numbers: 012-9852, 012-9850, 012-9849, 012-9848, 012-9845, 012-9843 – A Lack of
information related to Site Plan Notes and Licence Conditions
I object to the changes on the grounds that a lack of information provided on the EBR and the small
amount of information given to Oxford County by the proponent, leaves too much unknown to those of
us who may be impacted by alterations to the licence and site plans. Nor do I see guarantees of
specific rehabilitation plans or that the MNRF will be in a position to monitor their completion at
acceptable levels.
Not only are there no draft Site Plan Notes and no draft Prescribed Licence Conditions or other
conditions for the public and other stakeholders to consider and comment on, we have been given no
information on what conditions may be changed at all in relation to Carmeuse Lime's current site
plan obligations. It would be wise too for the MNRF to provide, via the EBR notice and other means,
not only this information, but accurate information on the current state of each of the existing
properties, including inspection reports carried out by your office or others subsequent to those
published in 2012.
Based on the fact that the request for licence amalgamation and revised rehabilitation plans is not
fully documents, you have no choice but to turn it down.
