We have finalized amendments to the Pesticides Act to reduce complexity and modernize pesticide management in Ontario while ensuring human health and the environment continue to be protected.

We have issued an Environmental Compliance Approval (Sewage) for 2693757 Ontario Inc. for the construction of a stormwater management facility in the City of Brantford.

We have issued an Environmental Compliance Approval for Staikos Homes (2014) Limited for construction of sanitary sewers, storm sewers and stormwater management facility to service Murry Heights Subdivision site, in the City of Quinte West.

We have issued an Environmental Compliance Approval with Limited Operational Flexibility (Air) to American Iron & Metal Company Inc., a metal recycling facility.

Ontario has approved updates to the Chronic Wasting Disease Prevention and Response Plan to reflect current scientific knowledge, lessons learned from other jurisdictions, evolving roles of government agencies, and new legislative and regulatory mechanisms under the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Act, 1997 to support prevention and response actions

Ontario has approved the White-tailed Deer Population Objective Setting and Harvest Management Guidelines. These guidelines will assist with improving consistency, transparency and alignment of deer population objective setting and harvest strategies.
