On December 18, 2020 the ministry issued an exploration permit located approximately 100 kilometres northwest of Wabauskang First Nation, Ontario, in Todd Township, District of Kenora, North West Region.

The Director of Exploration has made a decision on the exploration permit application PR-20-000320 to GFG Resources Inc. for early exploration activities 11 kilometres south-east of Foleyet, Ontario, in the Townships of Keith, Muskego, Foleyet, and Ivanhoe, District of Sudbury, Northeast Region.

The decision is to: Issue the permit.

Permit to Take Water No. 2682-8WPGJN was renewed for Minaki On the River Inc. for water supply purposes on December 9 2020. Water will be taken from the Winnipeg River in Minaki, Unorganized Kenora District, Ontario.

A new Environmental Compliance Approval for municipal and private stormwater management works is granted to Mist Opportunities Inc., located at 1869 Muskoka Road 118 West in the Town of Bracebridge.

Amendments have been made to regulations under the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Act, 1997, to reduce the risk of chronic wasting disease entry into, or spread within, Ontario.

An amended Environmental Compliance Approval with Limited Operational Flexibility (air & noise) has been issued to Waste Management of Canada Corporation, a waste transfer station located in the city of London, Ontario.

A new Environmental Compliance Approval No. 2085-BVBM74 was issued for the existing subsurface disposal works to service a drive-in theatre located at 1956 Highway 20 in the City of Thorold.

An Environmental Compliance Approval (waste site)19-HAM-82678 for Bill’s Septic Ltd. was issued on May 27, 2019 for a hauled sewage site as described below.

We have cancelled this Environmental Compliance Approval application for industrial stormwater management facility and storm sewer works serving Gerdau Ameristeel Corporation, located at 53 Fair Road in the City of Guelph, Ontario, for the collection, transmission, treatment and disposal of onsite stormwater runoff.

The Director of Exploration has made a decision on the exploration permit application PR-20-000332 to John Brady for early exploration activities in Parkin Township.

The decision is to issue the permit.

The variance is approved.

The Director of Mine Rehabilitation has made a decision on the Madsen Mine Amendment to a Closure Plan submitted by Pure Gold Inc. The decision is to file the Amendment.
