A new Environmental Compliance Approval has been issued for the establishment of seasonal subsurface sewage disposal works, rated at 150,000 litres per day, to service two trailer parks located at 2806 Pigeon Lake Road in Bobcaygeon, Ontario.

The ministry has issued a new Environmental Compliance Approval (sewage), to Terry Mostaard, to replace the substandard and outdated septic system that currently services the cottage unit No. 815 located at 8th Street, on Belwood Lake, Ontario.

Permit to Take Water was issued to 9425-5973 Quebec Inc. on December 8, 2023 for six years. Water will be taken from five ponds for construction dewatering purposes associated with the proposed development of the Les Cités Limoges Subdivision, located in The Nation, United Counties of Prescott and Russell, Ontario.

An Environmental Compliance Approval with Limited Operational Flexibility (air & noise) has been issued to Brantco Asphalt and Materials Ltd. This approval replaces all the current Environmental Compliance Approvals for air at this facility, and includes the addition of new, or historically unapproved, sources for the facility.

Certificate of Property Use No. 3653-CVZKY9 was issued to Lakeview Community Partners Limited on December 7, 2023 as part of the development plans for the property.

Certificate of Property Use No. 5677-CSBPMY for 312 Cherry Street, Toronto, was issued to City of Toronto Economic Development Corporation, as part of their development plans for the site.

Certificate of Property Use No. 6234-CCEQ4D for 215 Lake Shore Boulevard East, Toronto, was issued to Pinnacle International (Lakeside) GP Inc., as part of their development plans for the site.

An Environmental Compliance Approval was granted to JPI Farms Inc. for sanitary sewage treatment and surface water disposal works to service Phases 1 to 4 bunkhouse/greenhouse development located at 422 Mersea Road 7, in the Municipality of Leamington.

On November 10, 2023, Ontario filed amendments to O. Reg. 679/21 (Community Net Metering Projects) and O. Reg. 389/10 (General) to remove administrative burden and clarify regulatory requirements to support innovation and customer choice. The amendments will come into effect on January 1, 2024.

The Director of Exploration has made a decision on the exploration permit application PR-23-000304 to 2681891 Ontario Incorporated for early exploration activities.

The permit has been withdrawn.

To promote administrative efficiency, the Ministry amended O.Reg. 506/18 to streamline the exemption process for eligible building owners by removing the requirement to submit supporting documentation when requesting either an on-going or annual exemption from reporting.

The variance has been cancelled.

We have issued a new Permit to Take Water No. P-300-5229047655, which cancels and replaces Permit No. 2341-BM8KPD, for Karson Holdings Inc. Water will be taken for aggregate washing and aggregate extraction purposes at the McGee Pit, located in Carp, Ontario.
