This proposal is for new Environmental Compliance Approval (waste disposal site) for Draglam Waste & Recycling Inc. to operate a dry non-hazardous waste transfer station at 225 Artesian Industrial Parkway, Township of Bradford West Gwillimbury, Ontario.

The subject site is a 2.45 acres, rectangular shaped property. The site operations include receipt, sorting, temporary storage and dispatch of materials.

The non-hazardous waste to be brought on site will consist of wood, drywall, brick, pipes, salt, nails etc. The material will be stored on site in an enclosed dome. There will be outdoor storage of recyclable dry materials such as wood, glass, steel etc. in covered outdoor storage bins. The service area for the proposed use will be Southern Ontario.

The facility will be operational Monday to Saturday 4 a.m. to 11 p.m.

The maximum quantity of waste to be stored on site is 299 metric tonnes. A maximum of 199 metric tonnes of waste will be transferred from the site daily.
