Since its inception in 2015, the Millbank Sawmill has been operating in contravention of applicable regulatory requirements, including the requirement for an ECA in section 9 of the Environment Protection Act, RSO 1990, c E19. The Sawmill has grown since 2015, leading to increased offsite impacts. Read more

On Friday May 19/2023 I was visiting my sister in law and her family. Within a short period of time my nose stuffed up, eyes watering and a massive headache overcame my senses. My skin became itchy and I started getting a scratchy throat. Read more

I live on the SW side of Millbank in town, and I can smell the odors from the sawmill on my property. I also can't have my house windows open due to the odor. When I am outside it bothers my throat, my nose itches. Read more

With the close proximity to the town of Millbank, it is necessary to have a dust collector to contain the plumes of dust coming from the site.
