The proposed area for exploration has many cottages and lakes in the surrounding area. The lakes closest to the site also drain into other lakes that are lined with cottages. The area is prime cottage country. Exploration at this site would be analogous to doing the same in the Muskokas. Read more

The proposed exploration area has my property centred within along numerous others in the proposed exploration area. Included in this area is a large portion of One Island Lake itself. This is a relatively densely populated rural area. Read more

This prospect of development in this region is completely ridiculous. Given the cumulative impacts of current and proposed aggregate pits within the region, along with extensive cottages and the reservoir on Dog lake further down in the watershed, a mine of any proportion in this region is absurd.
