Original proposal
Proposal details
Lafarge Canada Inc. has applied to vary the tonnage condition of the current licence for the Mann Quarry to authorize an increase in the number of tonnes of aggregate that can be removed in a calendar year. The current licence condition allows for the removal of a maximum of 900,000 tonnes of material annually. Lafarge Canada Inc. has requested that the tonnage condition be increased to allow for unlimited tonnage.
This increase has been requested by the licensee to address the higher demand of aggregates in the area.
