It is depressing and frightening to see how often and how many of these ‘overall benefit’ requests are posted on the EBR. Even more worrisome, is knowing that most if not all requests will be granted.

Wetlands prevent droughts, prevent flooding, and reduce water usage. Consider encorporating the wetland into an organic farm. The two can coexist, and the benefits will be enormous. The animals of concern in this proposal provide natural pest control, and would benefit the farm.

Dear Sir/Madam, I am absolutely opposed to interfering at all with anymore wetlands in Canada. Ontario has lost so many wetlands to sprawl and development. We must stop it now. We should be protecting and preserving these wetlands. They are extremely important parts of the ecosystem.
