In regards to the Triple M…

In regards to the Triple M ECA for more air and noise pollution proposal. As a resident living in the Parkview West community that has lived here for over 40 years, I have unfortunately lived through the many changes to the surrounding environment. I must say that many are not so positive. Our little community has gone from a mainly quiet forgotten residential survey surrounded by some small industry working up to 12 hours per day to a highly polluted disregarded residential survey surrounded by multiple large industry working 24 hours per day. BAD ENOUGH THAT THE MINISTRY AND THE CITY HAVE ALLOWED THE BOOMING INDUSTRIES TO ENCROACH AROUND US, BUT DESPITE OUR PROTESTS AND VOICED CONCERNS FOR OUR HEALTH AND WELL-BEING, NOTHING IS BEING DONE TO HELP US TO REDUCE THE NOISE AND AIR POLLUTION. Now this proposal by Triple M is requesting to add more pollution though they are already one of the major contributors to our environmental pollution. We are the modern day Love Canal in Hamilton with many of the residents including myself to have acquired some form of cancer or respiratory disease. There is no doubt that our politicians and even the owners of these polluting industries wouldn't live in this are. We don't all have the luxury of moving as people don't want to move into our survey because of the noise and air pollution. so I am having my say on this proposal...NO THANK YOU! CLEAN UP YOUR PRESENT MESS AND LET US BREATHE AND SLEEP WITHOUT GETTING SICKER.
