-Negative Impacts in congestion on Sheffield Road with trucks lining up on both sides of the road; buses cannot pass when trucks are coming the other way. it's already a problem now; doubling this traffic means chaos and someone will get hurt because there is so much large truck traffic moving both ways.
- During the winter season snow is piled up on both sides of the road, the road becomes narrower and the roadway will be even more dangerous with large trucks cued up on both sides
- Additional smog, dust and pollution
- Additional noise
- More huge trucks full of garbage moving thru our area affecting pedestrian and car traffic
- Potential for all this additional garbage spilling out of the building, or loading and unloading activities happening outside of the metal building due to space limitations. They keep creating huge holes in the metal building, and this is very unsightly. People are trying to run respectable businesses in the area, paying massive property taxes and having to deal with this disgusting use next door or nearby.
- There will be more litter on the roadway in the vicinity of Optimum /GFL. no one cleans it.
- if i was looking for a place to set up a business, this would not be the place. The rents and property taxes cannot be justified
- Instead of trying to attract good businesses you are attracting garbage, smell, dust and noise.
- if you approve this application, coupled with the Asphalt plant next door, you will start a mass exodus out of the area. 500 million dollars of property assessment in the area down the drain....worthless!!
