I have concerns about this…

I have concerns about this proposal for several reasons. 1. the proposal for below the water table extraction will impact private wells in the area 2. the proposed entrance will create a traffic hazard as this intersection is already dangerous and no improvements have been proposed .... the entrance should be moved to a better location 3. the traffic study which has been done is incomplete ... no study has been conducted on Friday through to Monday .... prime traffic times in a tourist region such as ours. 4. I have concerns about the silica component of the granite dust . Silica has been identified as a hazardous substance and I see no indication that there may not be health impacts to near neighbours ..... I would like to see information that has been done in this regard for established granite quarries and this information would need to be over a span of 30 years at least since the effects of silicosis can take many years to come into play
