This amalgamation of these quarry licenses will include a site that is over 100 years old. The ARA states that this is to be an interim use of the land and yet none of this site has ever been surrendered. Since the the October 5, 2016 Rehabilitation Schematic Current/ARA Approved document that Carmeuse has submitted with this application, shows that the Lake at the south west corner of site 2136 has been rehabilitated and is to no longer be quarried, then a condition of this amalgamation should be the surrendering of these rehabilitated lands.
