Since Ontario Regulation 419/05, applicable Ministry Guidelines for Air & Noise is mentioned in the
Description of Instrument, we would like to address a "noise" issue because of its' significance to
this rural-residential area located not far from the site.

We live approximately 1 mile from the plant and the very loud clanging and banging noise from the
pipes that are being dropped outside the plant is significant.  The pipes can be singly and
continuously dropped, or it can be a waterfall of a lot of pipes being released all at once.  The
banging can be heard at all different hours of day and NIGHT.  We can even hear this inside our
house with the windows and doors closed.  This sound can be heard by neighbours 1/1/2 miles or more
from the site.

If Welded Tube of Canada Corp. would like to be a "good neighbour" to the surrounding area we would
ask that the Ministry of Environment work together with them to find a solution to this very
annoying, nuisance situation.  The people in the area would be very thankful if you both, in
partnership, could address and solve this problem.

Interestingly we have not heard noise during this last month or so.
