ROK Pipelines Inc. has submitted a proposal in relation to an overall benefit permit under clause 17(2)(c) of the Endangered Species Act, 2007 with respect to Blanding’s Turtle in relation to building and operating a mobile bulk emulsion explosive plant in Nairn and Hyman Townships.
The Minister has identified the Ontario Food Terminal as a provincially significant employment zone. This notice is related to ERO 013-4506, which proposed and provided for consultation on the policy framework for provincially significant employment zones. The Ministry will continue to consider requests to review the zones or add new zones.
The Ministry of Energy, Northern Development and Mines is ready to proceed with the rehabilitation of the former Long Lake Gold Mine site. Project planning was carried out in accordance with the Class Environmental Assessment for Activities of the Ministry of Northern Development and Mines under the Mining Act (Class Environmental Assessment).
