The Minister of the Environment, Conservation and Parks has issued an overall benefit permit to Chrisview Custom Homes Ltd. to construct a parking lot that will impact Blue Ash trees, which is a species at risk. The permit includes actions to benefit the species, minimize adverse effects, and outlines monitoring and reporting requirements.
We made a decision to amend the boundary of Pigeon River Provincial Park as described. We have not made a decision on the other parts of the proposal. To keep the Environmental Registry current, we are closing this posting.
