We renewed Permit to Take Water No. 3170-7VQT7F with Permit to Take Water No. 3076-BJ4PQQ for Walker Aggregates Inc. for industrial dewatering purposes related to quarry activities, located in the Town of Lincoln, Ontario.

We have approved the amendment and issued a Permit to Take Water No. 6364-BHHK8H for CRH Canada Group Inc. for site aggregate washing.

We have finalized the Fisheries Management Zone 11 Management Plan. The plan for Fisheries Management Zone 11 will help promote ecological sustainability and allow for ongoing evaluation of the effectiveness of management objectives and actions taken.

Permit To Take Water No. 3413-87ELLN was renewed for White Bear Mining Corporation for dewatering purposes. Water will be taken from the excavation at the Oxford Quarry, located in North Grenville, United Counties of Leeds and Grenville, Ontario. Permit No. 6782-BV8Q7W was issued on December 7, 2020 for a period of 10 years.

We have issued a notice amending the Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) No. 9758-A5BPZV for Kirkland Lake Gold Inc., an active mine located in the town of Kirkland Lake, Ontario.

Pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, provisional consent was granted on December 10, 2020 in respect of Application 56-C-200616 to transfer mining lands described as PIN 65367-0116 (LT) in Munro unincorporated township, District of Cochrane. The last day this decision can be appealed is December 30, 2020.

Bill 215: Main Street Recovery Act, 2020 made changes to the Municipal Act, 2001 and City of Toronto Act, 2006. It limits municipalities from regulating noise related to the delivery of goods to retail establishments, restaurants including cafes and bars, hotels/motels and goods distribution facilities, except as otherwise authorized by regulation.
