The ministry has issued a new Environmental Compliance Approval for industrial sewage treatment works serving Waverley Pit No. 2 (owned by The Sarjeant Company Ltd.) located at 1379 Baseline Road South, in the Township of Tiny, County of Simcoe.

We have issued a director’s order to Algoma Steel Inc. requiring them to apply for new site-specific standards for air emissions for their Sault Ste. Marie facility by March 31, 2022.

The Director of Exploration has made a decision on the exploration permit application PR-22-000095 to Patrick Culhane for early exploration activities, in Melba and Benoit townships, approximately 25 kilometers north west of the town of Kirkland Lake.

We have issued an Environmental Compliance Approval for the Diamondback development, located at 5185 Garrard Road in the Town of Whitby, for stormwater management works servicing this site.

This approval is for a new Environmental Compliance Approval (sewage works) for Hershey Canada Inc. to establish sewage works for the discharge of stormwater in Brantford, Ontario. The approved stormwater system will use infiltration galleries, orifice plates and oil-grit separator units to provide stormwater quantity and quality control.

Approval was issued to establish works for the collection, transmission, treatment and disposal of vegetable washing waste water and stormwater of the 9.4 ha active site of the total 53.6 ha potato growing farm at a design rate of 12.5 m³/day, comprising of a "passive", closed loop dual pond system serving the potato wash facility.

This approval is for an amendment to an existing Environmental Compliance Approval No. 0222-ACMJZ2 for modifications to the existing subsurface disposal works servicing facilities at West Lake Willows Resort, located at 2028 County Road 12 in Prince Edward County, Ontario.

Approval was issued for the establishment of stormwater management works for the collection, treatment and disposal of stormwater run-off from a catchment area of 5.9 ha site including 0.102 ha external area, to provide enhanced water quality protection for the 0.65 ha portion of the site for the development of a Card Lock Gas Station.

The approval is for a new Environmental Compliance Approval for a stormwater management facility to service a waste transfer and processing site serving John Westendorp Inc., located at 2697 County Road 6 in the Town of Yarker, Township of Stone Mills, County of Lennox and Addington.

This approval is for a new Environmental Compliance Approval for the establishment of seasonal subsurface sewage disposal works, rated at 40,000 litres per day, to service seasonal worker bunkhouse located at 144 Kendall Road in the Village of Vittoria, Ontario.

A new Environmental Compliance Approval (sewage) has been issued for the replacement subsurface disposal works to service the existing site (Twin Lake Resort) along with the proposed renovations at the site.

An Environmental Compliance Approval was granted to Canadian Niagara Power Inc. for industrial stormwater management works to serve 6011_Rosehill Substation, located in Town of Fort Erie, Ontario.

An approval for stormwater works was granted to Geosoil Inc. located at 953 Wilson Avenue in the City of Toronto, within a mixed-use commercial, industrial, and residential area. The property covers an area of approx. 1.60 ha and currently consists of an existing contractor’s yard used to stockpile soil and aggregates for manufacturing operations.

A new Environmental Compliance Approval (sewage) was issued to BCP IV Service Station Limited, as a general partner for and on behalf of BCP IV Service Station LP, for the establishment of stormwater management works servicing a retail automotive gas bar and convenience store at 41 Upper Centennial Parkway in the City of Hamilton.
