Ontario Power Generation Inc. - Environmental Compliance Approval (sewage)

The proposal is for an amendment to Environmental Compliance Approval (ECA) No. 8085-D42GTJ for industrial stormwater management works serving the proposed ongoing development of the Darlington New Nuclear Project (DNNP) site, located at the Ontario Power Generation Darlington site at 1 Holt Road South, in Darlington, Ontario.

The stormwater management works are associated with the proposed addition of construction laydown and parking areas located south of 2nd Line Road and east of Maple Grove Road, as well as grading works for three future Reactor Units located east of Holt Road and west of Maple Grove Road.

This application is for perimeter ditches and swales to discharge stormwater to Darlington Creek and Lake Ontario. The works are within the Darlington Creek and Osbourne Creek watersheds and will comprise Stormwater Quality Control and Quantity Control via the swales, and Erosion and Sediment Control works during construction.
