This proposal is for an amendment and consolidation of Environmental Compliance Approval (air) Nos. 8-1026-90-916, 8-1129-93-006 and 8-1048-94-967 for 1644451 Ontario Ltd., operating as Canflow Environmental Services (2005), a commercial waste processing and transfer facility, located at 4164 Discovery Line in the Township of Enniskillen, Ontario.

This application is for the approval of an oil-fired water heater and updated emission rates for the existing three emission control units, including the scrubber unit, filtration unit and granulated activated carbon (GAC) absorber unit.

Contaminant emissions to the atmosphere include:

  • carbon monoxide
  • bentonite
  • sulphur dioxide
  • nitrogen oxides
  • gasoline
  • hydrogen sulphide
  • suspended particulate matter
