This proposal is for the renewal of the Limited Operational Flexibility for an Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) No. 9024-953TVX for Listowel Technology Inc., a manufacturer of interior and exterior automotive plastic injected parts, located in the Town of North Perth, Ontario.

This proposal includes all emission sources from the manufacturing and associated processes that exhaust to the atmosphere including:

• receiving raw materials
• transferring raw material resin pellets to a conditioning area
• injection moulding
• painting
• assembly, and
• other ancillary processes such as
  • laboratory fumehoods
  • maintenance welding
  • maintenance cutting
  • grinding and bending
  • chillers and cooling towers

Emissions to the atmosphere from this facility include:

• toluene
• isobutyl acetate
• ethyl benzene
• titanium dioxide
• nickel
• aluminum
• particulate matter, and
• nitrogen oxides

The Environmental Compliance Approval with Limited Operational Flexibility (air), when issued, permits modifications to the facility subject to limits on operational flexibility that include a production limit for the facility to be specified on the Environmental Compliance Approval with Limited Operational Flexibility (air). The limited operational flexibility conditions have an expiry date. The company will be required to make an application for amendment at that time to renew these conditions.
