1414878 ONTARIO LTD - Environmental Compliance Approval (waste)

This proposal is for a new Environmental Compliance Approval for a Hydrovac soil processing facility for 1414878 Ontario Inc., located at 3250 Blais Road, Gloucester, Ontario, on a 1.5-hectare heavy industrial zoned site.

The site will receive slurry from Hydrovac vehicles from multiple sites in Eastern Ontario, but mainly from the Ottawa area, and dry soil is generated by pump separation. The site has a maximum daily receiving rate of 100 tonnes of liquid soil and a maximum total storage capacity of 1,000 tonnes of soil at any one time on the property. Once dry, the soil will be analyzed and classified for off-site disposal in accordance with Ontario Regulation 406/19.

An on-site cistern management water system separates solids and water, intending to recycle the water into departing Hydrovac vehicles. Neither water nor soil will remain on the property for extended periods.

The operation is open for receiving, processing, and shipping activities between 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, but will be available to accommodate operators requiring after-hours and weekends access should the need arise
