Proposal details

The proposal is for a new Environmental Compliance Approval for (m&p sewage) stormwater management works to serve Kingston Free Flow gas station with 5 gas pumps, convenience store, auto service shop, and food service, located in the City of Kingston, Ontario.

The stormwater management works comprise of the following:

  • new storm sewers to collect the site drainage, discharging to a proposed stormwater pond via a new oil and grit separator.
  • new oil and grit separator located at the north east corner of the parking lot, providing Enhanced Level of protection, having a sediment storage capacity of 3,470 litres, an oil storage capacity of 610 litres, receiving inflow from the storm sewer located on the proposed site, discharging via a 375 millimetres diameter outlet pipe to a stormwater pond.
