Application has been made by St. Marys Cement Inc. (Canada) to amend the current licence condition to allow a tonnage increase of 100,000 tonnes to licence No. 5489 and 624927. These licences have a combined annual tonnage limit at this time of 700,000 tonnes. The combined increase request is from 700,000 to 800,000 tonnes per year.

The proposal request for this licence is being circulated within the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry. Additionally, notification of this application has been forwarded to the Township of North Dumfries, Regional Municipality of Waterloo, for comment.
