Decision details
The application for consent 60-C-225795 was draft approved on May 9, 2023 subject to conditions.
The application was reviewed for consistency with the environmental policies of the Provincial Policy Statement (e.g., natural heritage, water quality protection). No public comments were received, or concerns identified.
Conditions include an inspection by the Northwestern Health Unit for suitability of sewage systems; and confirmation of adequate capacity to dispose of hauled sewage from the holder of an Environmental Compliance Approval (ECA).
The decision to approve the consent is consistent with the Provincial Policy Statement once conditions are met. This decision will not have a significant impact on the environment.
The applicants have two years to satisfy conditions of draft approval, otherwise approval will lapse. The approval can be appealed using the procedure outlined below. Notice to appeal the decision to the Ontario Land Tribunal must be filed with the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing on or before May 29, 2023.

Proposal details
The purpose of this application 60-C-225795 is to adjust the lot lines for two abutting properties, to square up the lot lines. It is proposed that the severed area for application 60-C-225795 would be approximately 0.07 hectares, with 24 metres of lakeside frontage from PIN 42034-0555 which would be added to PINs 42034-0566, 42034-0559, and 42034-1482.
No new development is proposed. There is an existing cottage, garage/shed buildings, water, and septic servicing.
