Proposal details
This proposal is to amend Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) No. 0001103193 for Chemtrade Chemicals Canada Ltd., a chemical manufacturing facility located in the City of Thorold, Regional Municipality of Niagara.
This proposal is to reflect changes in materials used and other operational activities.
Sources at the facility include:
- an aluminum process scrubber stack
- a diesel-fired boiler
- a baghouse
Contaminant emissions to the atmosphere include:
- suspended particulate matter
- sulphur dioxide
- aluminum hydroxide
- noise
- products of combustion such as nitrogen oxides
