Proposal details
On July 22, 2022, the City of Toronto adopted Official Plan Amendment 537 pursuant to sections 26 and 17 of the Planning Act by By-law 1107-2022. This amendment, also known as the Keele-St. Clair Secondary Plan, is now before the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing for a decision under the Planning Act.
Official Plan Amendment 537 contains new policies and land use schedules to guide development surrounding the planned St. Clair-Old Weston Transit Station in Toronto. These include the delineation and establishment of minimum density targets for a Protected Major Transit Station Area, new land use and transportation maps, as well as policies related to employment, affordable housing and public realm.
If approved, Official Plan Amendment 537 will apply to the Keele-St. Clair Secondary Plan Area in the City of Toronto.
