Decision details

57-C-216839 was approved on September 14, 2021 with standard conditions. The application would sever an irregularly shaped piece of land approximately 0.17 hectares in size (with approximately 70 metres of frontage on Poplar Dale Road) from PIN 31386-0094 to be consolidated in a lot addition with PIN 31386-0129. The lands that are proposed to be severed are vacant. The purpose of the proposed lot addition is to widen an existing driveway from Poplar Dale Road to PIN 31386-0129, a new gate post would be installed.

No other new buildings, structures, or changes in existing land use are proposed.

A lot addition to widen the other side of the driveway was final approved in August 2021.

The application was reviewed for consistency with the environmental policies of the Provincial Policy Statement (e.g. natural heritage, water quality protection). No public comments were received, and no concerns were identified. The decision to approve the consent is consistent with the Provincial Policy Statement, this decision will not have a significant impact on the environment.

The approval can be appealed using the procedure outlined below. Notice to appeal the decision to the Ontario Land Tribunal must be filed with the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing on or before October 4, 2021.

The applicant has one (1) year to satisfy conditions, otherwise approval will lapse.
