Original proposal
Proposal details
This proposal is to amend Environmental Compliance Approval with Limited Operational Flexibility (air) No. 4354-93HMEV for Dana Canada Corporation, a thermal products and sealing products manufacturing facility located in the Town of Oakville, Regional Municipality of Halton.
The emission sources from the manufacturing and associated processes that exhaust to the air include plating, stamping and forming, brazing, engine testing, corrosion testing, and chemical and metallurgical testing operations. The amendment includes the addition of a multilayer steel gasket production line.
Emissions to the air from this facility include ammonia, hydrogen fluoride, nickel, nitrogen oxides, and noise.
The Environmental Compliance Approval with Limited Operational Flexibility (air), when issued, permits modifications to the facility subject to limits on operational flexibility that include a production limit for the facility to be specified on the Environmental Compliance Approval with Limited Operational Flexibility (air). The limited operational flexibility conditions have an expiry date. The company will be required to make an application for amendment at that time to renew these conditions.
