Original proposal
Proposal details
This proposal is for an amendment to the Limited Operational Flexibility for an Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) No. 8628-9N4QUG for Fielding Chemical Technologies Inc., a waste solvent and refrigerant recycling facility, located in the City of Mississauga, Ontario.
The emission sources from the manufacturing and associated processes that exhaust to the air include receiving, storing, distillation and fractionation of spent chemicals and any other equipment and ancillary and support processes and activities.
The amendment includes process changes, improvements in product and emissions recovery, and increasing the production limit.
Emissions to the air from this facility include:
- suspended particulate matter
- xylenes
- propylene glycol
- hexavalent chromium
- formic acid
The Environmental Compliance Approval with Limited Operational Flexibility (air), when issued, permits modifications to the facility subject to limits on operational flexibility that include a production limit for the facility to be specified on the Environmental Compliance Approval with Limited Operational Flexibility (air). The limited operational flexibility conditions have an expiry date. The company will be required to make an application for amendment at that page 2 time to renew these conditions.
