As a 5 month seasonal resident at Trout Lake, I am concerned regarding any proposal that will impact the environment of the area. I am concerned with any development that impacts our local roads as they were not meant for heavy usage . They are narrow, hilly and have many curves. Read more

I have reviewed the proposal as concerned citizen who uses HWY-102 to recreate and travel to our vacation property on the West side of Burk Lake. By all accounts the proposal does not seem to be too intrusive to the land, and does not indicate any line cutting or mechanized stripping. Read more

As a resident of Trout Lake and now One Island for the last 30 years, I strongly oppose any further investigation to mining or the potential of removing/altering the eco systems in the area. With the aggregate pits in the area already, the impact on the lakes and rivers will be detrimental. Read more

I wish to submit my opposition to the proposed mining exploration by Transition Metals Corp. at One Island Lake. I currently have property on One Island Lake and reside there seasonally. The amount of industrial activity that already exists in this area is excessive. Read more
