Original proposal
Proposal details
This proposal is for a new Environmental Compliance Approval (waste disposal site - processing) for Drain-All Ltd. The non-hazardous waste processing facility is located on a site that is approximately 10 acres in area at 4380 Trail Road, Ottawa, Ontario.
Approval is sought for the receiving, processing and transfer of clean excess soil/ liquid soil material from clean excess soil locations.
The clean excess soils are inspected and sampled for contamination to determine whether the soils are acceptable for storage and placement at the property.
The maximum waste to be received daily will be 150 tonnes of liquid soils and 150 tonnes of dry soils, and the maximum on-site storage capacity will be 240,000 tonnes of processed soil.
The service area of the operation will be from clean soil locations within the Province of Ontario and Quebec.
The hours of operation will be 24 hours per day, seven days a week and 365 days a year.
