Effects of consultation

We received one comment from the Corporation of the City of Barrie through the Environmental Registry of Ontario highlighting the City's requirements related to discharging water into the Municipal Sewage Works.

This permit was issued with a condition that states that the permit does not authorize the permit holder to discharge the pumped water to the municipal storm and/or sanitary sewer system. It is the permit holder's responsibility to obtain approval from the owner of the sewer system they intend to discharge to prior to the commencement of any water taking activities under this permit.
