Proposal Details

Five W farms Inc. has made an application to:

  • re-phase the sequence of aggregate extraction and alter the direction of mining
  • increase the maximum annual tonnage limit from 500,000 tonnes to 1,000,000 tonnes
  • modify the hours of operation to increase the window for aggregate processing, loading of trucks, haulage to market and on-site equipment maintenance
  • incorporate the possible establishment of a wash plant, subject to obtaining all other necessary approvals
  • make administrative changes to the site plan, e.g., re-structuring the display, correcting errors, ensuring relevant content, and up-dating various site plan notes as applicable

This increase in tonnage and changes to hours of operation has been requested by the licensee to address the higher demand for aggregate products.
